View the impact
of a particular service on a group of students
In the example below, you can see that Estudias Enterprise
has automatically integrated downloaded Colleague GPA information to
show how the number of tutoring contacts affects student GPAs
[continued below].

While the GPAs fluctuate,
there is still a clear correlation between a higher number of
tutoring contacts and a higher GPA (average GPA is at 2.6 for
students with one contact and over 3.0 for students with 22
contacts). This chart helps to determine how many times a student
needs to receive the service to show an improvement. For example,
you can see that student GPA increase was much higher for the first
7 contacts than for the next 7. As the number of contacts
increase, you start to see diminishing
returns.
Estudias
Enterprise even
predicts how students would do with more contacts. You can see that
no students had more than 26 contacts, but looking at the data,
Estudias is able to predict that added contacts may not help a
student’s GPA.
Even though it is
difficult to go from correlation to cause-effect, this is powerful
information that can help evaluate your services and determine ahead
of time whether adding new services would help achieve your project
goals.
