Recruitment
ZogoTech's Estudias Enterprise helps schools recruit, retain and graduate students. Below
are just a few ways Estudias Enterprise helps recruitment.
-
Quickly Monitor/Manage Recruitment and Retention
Estudias Enterprise integrates with your student
information system (i.e. Colleague, PeopleSoft, SCT
Banner) allowing users to see on a daily
basis which prospects (or previous students) have enrolled. This makes it possible to proactively reach out
specifically to those who have not registered to get them enrolled, helping
the school's overall enrollment goals. Executives have
access to this information on a daily basis during
registration to more accurately predict enrollment
numbers.

Geographically Target Recruitment
Estudias Enterprise integrates with Microsoft MapPoint, allowing targeted recruitment efforts. For example, the screen
shot on the right shows a map combining data from
Estudias Enterprise and the US Census. Counties
colored purple indicate that, of the students selected
in Estudias Enterprise, a large number of
students are from those areas.
Pie graphs indicate educational attainment demographics
from the US Census. A quick visual scan of the pie
charts shows that most counties are similar -- a large percentage
of adults without any college education. One exception stands
out in the left center (nearest to the upper left corner
of the pop-up text). Looking at the pop-up shows that
in this area, almost 50% of adults have completed a college
degree. Tailoring recruitment to this county would be
more effective for continuing education
classes. Other charts can show household income, household
size, etc.

Preserve Recruiting Information
Recruiters gather valuable information about a prospect
such as their goals and original reasons for coming to school.
Some prospects may even take the initiative to drop by and
talk to an advisor in the middle of a semester. This is
critical information for future recruitment or retention
efforts. However, with no easy way to store this information
in most student
information systems, this information is often lost. With
Estudias Enterprise,
users can:
- Store information about prospects in the same
easy-to-use interface that shows student information, giving a
unified view of pre- and post-enrollment information.
- Select and actively engage prospects who have initiated
contact with the institution.
- Track and run reports on showing how prospect goals correlate
with recruitment and retention.
-
Coordinate Recruitment Information
Recruiting information can be shared among different departments
to coordinate recruitment efforts and measure effectiveness.
Specialized groups (student support services, disability
services) can receive advance notice about potential students
to assist with recruitment and guide the student through
the enrollment process.
-
Easily Generate Reports
Generate reports such as typical financial aid packages and completion rates
to be able to tell potential students how much they can
expect to receive in financial aid and how long it will
take them to get a degree. This information can be
broken down by zip code, high school, income level or any
combination of those and other characteristics.
-
Easily Contact Prospects
Contact prospects through email, mail and phone; record these
contacts for recruitment assessment, future reference and
retention.
-
Assess Recruitment
Assess quality with graphical reports showing success of contacts.
For example, show the optimal number and type of contacts
it takes to successfully recruit a student; graphically
illustrate cost-benefit ratios and diminishing returns with
respect to time or cost of each contact.
-
Transfer/Enrollment Analysis
Integrate with state and federal data to determine if prospects
enrolled in other institutions. Identify patterns
that might better inform recruitment efforts.
-
Track Students Beyond Registration
Track students by identifying which types of students enroll, which types
of students have the highest graduation rates and which
types of students may need more help once they enter school.
