The following is an interactive demo
of ZogoTech's data warehousing / reporting presentation that will be
given at NEAIR 2007. This presentation widely praised at AIR
2006 and 2007. In this presentation we will:
Examine retention and graduation rate of the
institution as a whole, looking for gender and ethnicity
differences.
Drill down to see the effectiveness of one
particular program
Drill down to see which particular groups of
students contribute the most (in this case New students).
See whether the program has always had a high
retention rate

Data-Driven Decision Making through
Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing
Monday November 5, 4:10-4:35 pm
(Conference I)
As institutions become more
data-driven, institutional researchers have become deluged
with requests for more data. However, we are often
still using basic reporting technology that does not address
the problems of constantly changing data / poor data quality
and does not support more sophisticated analyses.
Business intelligence and data warehousing are often seen as
solutions, however cost and risk rule it out for many
institutions.
This presentation and software
demonstration will show ZogoTech’s approach, which has
proven to be more successful, less expensive, and less risky
than traditional approaches. We will look at
longitudinal cohort comparisons, drag and drop analyses, end
user reporting tools, and an integrated CRM tool all
designed to help institutional researchers spend less time
gathering data and more time analyzing them.
ZogoTech’s solution created a buzz in
the IR community following highly acclaimed presentations at
AIR, SAIR and TAIR.
